GEOINNO 2024: send us your papers!
GEOINNO has become an essential conference for the large community of researchers working at the intersections of urban economics, networks / complexity analysis, economic geography and the economics of innovation. I’m very happy to see Manchester hosting this coming January, and very happy to be involved in the conference too.
I am helping run two special sessions:
- First, one on immigration, innovation and diversity in firms and cities, with members of my ESRC grant team Anna Valero, Anna Rosso, Tom Kemeny, Ceren Ozgen and Guido Pialli.
- Second, one on hybrid working / WFH and new geographies of innovation, with Davide Rigo and Riccardo Crescenzi.
Please do submit your ideas, and share these calls around — we would love to hear from you. As a former resident, I can also say that Manchester is also a great city, even in January.
GEOINNO asks for extended abstracts (or full papers if you have them). Deadline to submit is 21 July 2023. Here’s the portal.
